Wanghui Company is a modern enterprise integrating research and development, production, processing, and sales of spicy marinated snack foods. Founded in the late 1990s in a poor and underdeveloped red revolutionary base area, as a local grassroots enterprise, it has steadily progressed while continuously investing heavily to solidify its foundation, achieving the first intelligent production line in Hunan's spicy strip industry.

Rich Cultural Heritage

From the regional history perspective: Pingjiang County is located in the northeast of Hunan Province, bordering Hunan, Hubei, and Jiangxi provinces. It boasts beautiful mountains and rivers, a long history, and profound cultural heritage! Generations of Pingjiang people have inherited the poetic styles of Qu Yuan and Du Fu, with a flourishing literary tradition and talented scholars, earning the reputation as the "Hometown of Chinese Poetry." It is also one of the birthplaces of the Chinese revolution, with many shining stars. Moreover, Pingjiang is renowned at home and abroad as the hometown of Jianggan (fermented bean curd). According to the "Pingjiang County Annals," as early as the Kangxi era, Pingjiang Jianggan was listed as a tribute to the imperial court. The red revolutionary land has also endowed Pingjiang people with a passionate spirit and entrepreneurial enthusiasm. Since the founding of the People's Republic, there have been over a hundred Jianggan factories in Pingjiang County, with a complete industrial chain from upstream raw materials to downstream distribution.

From the company's history perspective: Wanghui Company insists on inheritance. After numerous attempts, it finally produced noodle sheet products shaped like Pingjiang Jianggan using flour as raw material through extrusion puffing, greatly reducing product costs. Using the unique marinated spicy flavor seasoning and techniques of Pingjiang Jianggan, it preserved the spicy marinated flavor passed down for 300 years. The prototype of "spicy strips," the first generation of authentic spicy marinated strips, was thus born and launched to the market, gaining consumer recognition and popularity. Chairman Xu Wanghui enthusiastically shared the production process with peer factories coming to learn and actively advocated for the establishment of an industry association to promote the formulation of spicy strip standards and legitimize spicy strips. Therefore, Pingjiang has been honored with titles such as "Hometown of Chinese Spicy Strips," "Capital of Chinese Spicy Snack Foods," "Birthplace of Spicy Strips," and "Core Production Area of Spicy Strips."

Promising future development

The world today is rapidly changing, with countless boats competing and thousands of sails racing forward. Standing still means falling behind, and slow progress is also regression. In 2024, we will enter a new cycle focusing mainly on the following aspects:

First, strengthen market assessment and continuously explore new markets. With the joint efforts of the entire sales department, the company has preliminarily completed the planning of markets, channels, products, and customers. Key regions have implemented a regional model, continuing to deeply cultivate the market. Product display and promotion have been extended to frontline markets, effectively increasing product shelf coverage, with initial results already visible. To rapidly expand the high-end consumer market, the upgraded Feiwang Black Gold series products were officially launched to consumers by the end of September 2023 and validated by channels such as Zhongbai, laying a solid foundation for comprehensive product transformation and upgrading. In 2024, leveraging the publicity and promotion of the Spring Sugar and Wine Fair, we will continue to be market-oriented, enhance competitive advantages through technological innovation, and continuously achieve new progress for the company.

Second, optimize automated production to enhance product competitiveness. The company will maximize the development and matching of new automated equipment according to the production processes of different products, promoting automation coverage throughout the company. This will significantly improve product quality and capacity, reduce labor intensity, and improve working conditions and environment. The company's R&D and production center will continue to innovate and overcome difficulties, introducing the latest technological equipment. It has completed new extrusion technology for raw materials and improved key technologies and processes, promoting refined and intelligent product processing.

Third, closely link the company's development with rural revitalization. On one hand, the company plans to invest 260 million yuan to build the Feiwang Green Food Industrial Park in Pingjiang High-tech Zone. Once completed, the new industrial park will provide 1,600 jobs, specifically placing over 200 disabled persons in employment, with an annual output value reaching 2.8 billion yuan. It will also drive the development of related industries such as e-commerce, packaging, printing, machinery, agricultural and sideline products, tourism, catering, accommodation, and logistics. On the other hand, the company will adopt an integrated cooperation model of enterprise + cooperative + base + farmers, establishing 200,000 mu (approximately 13,333 hectares) of high-standard agricultural bases for crops such as rapeseed oil, Sichuan pepper, and soybeans, contributing to rural revitalization.
