"Fei Wang" Snacks Take the World Stage

  The world-renowned Shanghai Expo has been over for more than a year, but the story of a company showcasing nine green and healthy food products at the Expo, winning widespread praise from international friends, is still widely circulated.
  It is the "Fei Wang" series of snacks produced by Hunan Wanghui Food Co., Ltd.
  Why can the "Fei Wang" snacks proudly enter the Expo and secure a place in the fiercely competitive international market?
  Pingjiang, as the birthplace of cooked food products, continues the traditional soy sauce dried process, developing bean and flour cooked food products with scientific formulas and new processes. It offers a wide variety, fresh styles, good taste, and excellent quality, covering more than 100 large and medium-sized cities nationwide, and has always been renowned as "Pingjiang cooked food travels the world."
  Founded in 1998, Hunan Wanghui Food Co., Ltd. fully leverages the unique advantages of Pingjiang cooked food, targets market demand, and rides the trend. With the business philosophy of "Quality is life, integrity is the soul, delicious taste is the foundation, safety is the guarantee," it first selects premium raw materials, absorbs the essence of Pingjiang's century-old formulas, integrates modern scientific production technology, and introduces modern production equipment. It has built standard production plants and first-class automated production lines. Currently, Wanghui's bean products and marinated products have some of the largest and most modern production lines in the province. The company now has 48 fully enclosed, fully automated assembly lines, over 200 sets of various mechanical equipment, and advanced domestic testing and inspection equipment. From soybean quality improvement, soaking, to grinding, the company has fully mechanized and standardized the assembly line operations and management.
  In addition, Wanghui's food production process is very strict, with no reverse flow or secondary contamination in the production process. Packaged products are sterilized within four hours in a high-temperature, high-pressure sterilizer at 121 degrees Celsius, with strict quality control at every step. All personnel in direct contact with food strictly comply with food hygiene laws, with a 100% health certificate rate. Products are produced strictly according to national standards and have passed the national QS quality and safety certification and ISO9001:2008 international quality management system certification. Thanks to its excellent product quality, the "Fei Wang" snacks were selected by the Hunan provincial expert review leadership group last May to enter the Shanghai Expo Food Exhibition with nine products. During the four-day exhibition, Wanghui Food received unanimous praise from domestic and foreign merchants for its unique traditional flavor and healthy green concept. Trade export agreements were signed with countries such as France and Germany, and agreements to establish provincial sales branches were signed in more than 20 provinces and cities in China, with a contract amount reaching 126 million RMB. On May 20 last year, Wanghui bean products also made a brilliant appearance at the Hunan Food Special Promotion Conference, becoming the most popular green and healthy food at this Expo.
  Although "Fei Wang" snacks have received unanimous praise from consumers and successfully entered the international market, Wanghui's chairman Xu Wanghui does not dare to relax or be complacent. He said food safety is paramount, there is no best product, only better ones. Therefore, the company must always stay vigilant in providing safe and reliable food for consumers, pursue reform, continuously innovate, and keep pace with the times to secure a foothold in the fierce market competition.
  Today, Wanghui Company has three production bases covering a total area of 180 acres, with total assets of 123.17 million RMB. The company has multiple subsidiaries in beverages, purified water, and tourism products. It currently has one advanced and well-equipped production line each for beverages, purified water, and bean product snacks, and six flour cooked food production lines. It employs more than 1,800 people, including 285 professional technicians, mainly engaged in the research, development, production, and sales of flour products, marinated products, bean products, beverages, purified water, tourism products, and is a well-known food production base in Hunan Province.
  Wanghui Company has been fully recognized by leaders at all levels and all sectors of society for its impressive achievements and good reputation. In 2008, the company was rated as a "Hunan Province Honest Private Enterprise," and the "Fei Wang" trademark was awarded the title of "Famous Trademark of Hunan Province." In 2009, the legal representative Xu Wanghui was awarded the title of "Hunan Province Entrepreneurship Model" by the Hunan Provincial People's Government; the company was designated by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League as a "Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Internship Base"; Xu Wanghui was named one of the "Top Ten Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs" in Yueyang City; the company was rated as an "AAA" credit enterprise by the Hunan Enterprise Credit Evaluation Center; and was recognized by the Yueyang Municipal People's Government as a "Leading Agricultural Industrialization Enterprise at the Municipal Level." At the 2010-2011 China Food Safety Annual Conference hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the State Council Food Safety Committee Office, the Ministry of Agriculture, the General Administration of Customs, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the Food and Drug Administration, and the China Food Industry Association, the company was awarded the title of "Food Safety Demonstration Unit" and was honored as a "National Excellent Leading Food Enterprise" by the China Food Industry Association; it was designated as a teaching and research base by the Food Science and Technology College of Hunan Agricultural University; and approved by the Hunan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security as the Hunan Province Chief Expert Service Base.
  What is especially gratifying is that the company's high-start planning for an annual output of 20,000 tons of bean product industrialization development project is about to be completed. It will be able to produce 70 tons of bean products daily, including products such as lactone tofu, fermented bean curd, smoked dried tofu, and bean seasoning products. The total output value can exceed 1 billion RMB, with annual tax revenue exceeding 160 million RMB. Taking this as an opportunity, the company plans to create a well-known Chinese trademark within three years, achieve an annual output value of over 1.5 billion RMB within five years, generate annual tax revenue of over 300 million RMB, and enter the top five national leisure snack food production enterprises. Meanwhile, the Hunan Agricultural University Huiwang Food R&D and Testing Center building, heavily invested in by Wanghui Company, has recently been completed and put into use. It is foreseeable that in the near future, batches of high-tech, high-quality, safe, and reliable new cooked food products will be launched from here.
