Leverage the Party Branch as a Battle Fortress; School-Enterprise Cooperation for Mutual Benefit and Joint Development
Recently, the Party Branch of the School of Food Science and Technology at Hunan Agricultural University, led by Professor Xia Yanbin, visited Hunan Wanghui Food Co., Ltd. with a group of 10 people to kick off the joint Party Branch construction activities between the university and the enterprise.
Both parties first introduced the construction status of their respective Party branches, exchanging views on organizational structure, party member development, and Party building work, while also raising their own concerns regarding party member development.
In order to better play the role of the Party branch as a fighting fortress and truly serve teaching, research, and production, the Party branch of the college held in-depth and detailed discussions with Yu Zili, Secretary of the Wanghui Party branch and General Manager, on multi-level university-enterprise cooperation including student internships and employment, party member teachers solving problems in enterprises, joint research and development with results marketed, and social services. Upon learning that Wanghui Food has a wide variety of products but weak technology and R&D capabilities, the discussion became even more enthusiastic. The enterprise's talent needs cover product development, food inspection, and other areas, which perfectly align with the specialties of the Food Science and Technology College at the Agricultural University, finding more and better points of synergy for university-enterprise cooperation. Through close cooperation in recent years, the conditions for establishing the "Hunan Agricultural University - Wanghui Food Party Member Joint Construction Demonstration Base" have matured, and a preliminary intention has been reached.
The Party branch activities of both sides quickly passed in a pleasant and enthusiastic discussion, marking a good start for the joint construction of university-enterprise Party branches. In the next phase of work, both sides will surely cooperate closely, steadily advancing various activities to truly implement the joint Party branch construction work.
